Products
SPEX Forensics and HORIBA manufacture forensic instrumentation to collect and analyze evidence during the course of an investigation. Instruments such as Forensic Light Sources, Reflective UV and fingerprint imaging systems are designed to be used at the crime scene to collect, and in the laboratory to analyze evidence.
Beginning in 1993, SPEX Forensics manufactured and sold Forensic Light Sources. In the subsequent years, SPEX Forensics expanded their product line to include: Reflective Ultra Violet Imaging systems (RUVIS), Fingerprint Image Enhancement Systems, and Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS) – PrintQuest.
