Workshop: Decoding High Efficiency in Hematology Lab

- |
|   Online

Event

Beginning: 04/25/25

End: 06/06/25

Clinical laboratories rely on the sensitivity and specificity of their hematology analyzer’s flagging algorithm to select samples for manual slide review. Therefore, when evaluating a new analyzer, it's crucial to verify its numerical results across a broad range and assess the diagnostic accuracy of its flagging algorithm.

To address these challenges, we will present a method for the fair comparison of analyzers through side-by-side routine operations. Additionally, we will discuss the role of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in managing hematology lab operations effectively.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into optimizing lab workflows, resource allocation, and quality control measures to enhance overall lab performance.

Who should attend? - Anyone looking to enhance efficiency and accuracy in hematology labs:
• Hematologists
• Hematopathologists
• Lab Technicians
• Lab Managers
• Lab Directors, etc.
