Spectrophotometry

Clinical chemistry measurements are based on optical spectrometry for most of the blood molecules and also based on potentiometry for a few blood ions. The optical spectrometry is the technique for measuring the distribution of light across the optical spectrum, from the UV spectral region to the visible and infrared.
