Where can it be installed?
The SLFA-60 is a compact sulfur-in-oil analyzer based on energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technology. It is portable and can be used on-board, thanks to its pump-free and LN2-free optics. The SLFA-60 series does not require a laptop or external printer, making it flexible to install in any location.

How can I get data without operational computer and printer?
The SLFA-60 has an integrated large-screen display and touch buttons on the main unit, which makes it easier for users to operate the device intuitively. The buttons are covered with a resin sheet to prevent oil from adhering to the device and make it easier to keep it clean. The SLFA-60 also has an integrated printer that can print out all the necessary information on 80 mm wide paper.
How does it protect the device from oil leakage accident?
The SLFA-60 has a protective membrane under the sample cell. It protects the optics (detector and X-ray tube) from accidental sample leakage. The protective membrane is a single unit that is easy for the user to replace.
Is it safe from X-ray exposure?
The SLFA-60 has a two-tier safety system to prevent X-ray leakage: an X-ray shield, an interlock function, and a shutter function. The X-ray shield blocks X-rays from escaping the instrument. The interlock function prevents the X-ray tube from operating if the chamber lid is open. The shutter function closes over the X-ray port once the chamber lid is open, further preventing X-ray leakage. The SLFA-60 meets the requirements of IEC 61010-1, which specifies that the X-ray leakage rate must be under 5 µSv per hour. The SLFA-60 goes even further, with a design specification of under 1 µSv per hour. This means that the SLFA-60 is one of the safest X-ray fluorescence analyzers on the market.
